Blue Spruce Farm traces its roots to the life and legacy of Dr. Max Nicholls, a renowned veterinarian whose passion for animals shaped the community of Redmond and beyond. In 1949, Dr. Nicholls began his career at the Redmond Animal Clinic, later founding the Blue Spruce Clinic with his wife Mary in 1958.

Today, Blue Spruce Farm continues to thrive as a horse boarding facility, lovingly operated by the Nicholls family. With a legacy of care and compassion at its core, the farm remains a trusted haven for horses and a symbol of Dr. Max and Mary Nicholls’ lifelong commitment to animals.​​
